Depositing inert waste - landfills
A landfill for environmentaly safe waste and materials such as e.g. soil, building debris, concrete, bricks, foundry sand, excavated waste rock from tunnels or underground structures etc. is always operated within the reclamation plan of each sandpit upon a permit from the respective authority. The aim of this activity is to reclaim the sandpit and return the land to the Agricultural Land Reserves including modification of the landscape relief or maintaining of an open body of water.
The approval to operate the facility for waste utilization R11 - utilization of waste formed by application of one of the procedures listed as R1 to R10 was granted to ZEPIKO Ltd. by the Regional Authority of South Moravia, Department of Environment and Agriculture on the base of the affirmative opinion of the Regional Public Health Authority of the South Moravian Region.
Depositing inert waste is provided in the following regions: the South Moravian and Olomouc Regions – Brno, Hustopeče, Pohořelice, Mikulov, Znojmo, Břeclav, Vyškov, Prostějov, Přerov, Olomouc, Prostějov, Kroměříž, Hulín, Holešov, Otrokovice, Zlín, or in these landfills:
